Senior citizens are the heart and soul of our communities. As our parents, grandparents, friends, and neighbors, they carry the history of what makes us who we are. It is up to us as citizens to protect their interests and improve their quality of life.

Crimes against seniors:

Utah seniors are common victims of financial crime and theft, with $1 million stolen from them alone every day.

According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, over half of these crimes are done by a family member.

Seniors are the fastest growing age group in Utah:

This creates an increase in disability rates and the need for government funding for seniors, such as Medicaid.

Planning for the future:

It is important to address issues such as healthcare, retirement, financial affairs and transportation.
